86% of clinical trials fail to meet their recruitment target on-time leading to significant financial and scientific losses.  On average 40% of every health research grant is allocated for recruitment, which is a huge dent in the resources available for the active research of new treatments and cures.

On top of this, over 50% of the general public have little to no awareness of clinical trials and their ability to participate in them.  Even fewer are aware that many clinical trials do not involve pharmaceuticals and are focused on health and wellbeing, along with preventative medicine, which many people could potentially benefit from.

There’s also a significant data-gap in health research, with women, ethnic groups and people from different socio-economic groups being heavily underrepresented.

Of course, this needs to change and Trialwell is on a mission to help as many people as possible, from all walks of life, gain easy access to non-pharmaceutical clinical trials whilst appreciating the incredible value that being part of research will bring.  Not just for individual, but for the health and wellbeing of all of us.  Todays research is, quite literally, tomorrows cures and treatments.

Research is a vital part of safeguarding our future health and wellbeing.  The more cost-effective Trialwell can make the recruitment process, through our digital platform and AI technology, the more resources can be allocated to advance solutions to global epidemics, like obesity and diabetes, and support the discovery of new treatments that could save a life!  Nobody should have to live with the fear of a diagnosis, Trialwell is here to bring hope, and support the health and wellbeing of everyone.
