For a startup aiming for rapid growth, it is important to make good recruitment choices. Have you ever stopped to think about how the city could support this?

Well, maybe you should.

At the City of Espoo, we are ready to roll up our sleeves and help you with recruitment. We will identify suitable talents on your behalf and provide meeting platforms where you can cost-effectively build an employer image and get leads on candidates. We offer, for example, financial support (pay subsidy), help with recruitment and recruitment training.

Families and spouses of employees recruited from abroad are also not left in the lurch – we support their settling in Finland and Espoo in many different ways.

And that is not all. Behind us is the huge Business Espoo service network. So, in addition to recruitment support, you can get help from the legendary one-stop shop for internationalisation, competence development, financing opportunities or just business sparring. The services are completely free of charge. Please do not let this opportunity pass you by.

How do I get started?

Networks are very valuable in recruitment, especially in for startups. We, too, believe in the power of networks, and we want you to benefit from our contacts.

Tell us what you need (ping us at tyonantajapalvelut@espoo.fi) – your work is our work. Visit the Espoo Talent Hub at Tekniikantie 4 C, and we can spar in person. You can also contact International House Helsinki for employer counselling, so that you can get to grips with what needs to be taken into account in international recruitments.

The best people already have jobs, and they cannot be found through the employment office, it is said. But what if they can? In fact, the City of Espoo is now an employment office, as we are responsible for the employment of everyone under the age of 30 and people with an immigrant background, for example. In Espoo, this means about 18,000 clients. That number should also include potential candidates for your team. We are also building a comprehensive Talent Espoo community, which includes service providers, employers and talents, both employed and unemployed, in Finland and abroad. Come and join the network – let us make Finland and Espoo an attractive place to live and work!

The City of Espoo is involved in supporting the Kiuas community because we want to change the world together.
