Kiuas' heart and soul are our top-quality accelerator programs, and as Head of Program that's what your role is mainly about. In the big picture, you decide the conceptual frames of a program, but also acquire top-level mentors and yet on a daily level make sure that the startups are doing fine and that are program operations are running smoothly.

You will not only get to know the fresh new startups, but actually the biggest asset of Kiuas is the community. Hundreds of founders, all who have experienced the ups and downs of entrepreneurship, make Kiuas community a unique bunch. Although no one person makes the community by themselves, as Head of Program you are in charge of making sure our community continues to be relevant and part of our startups' lives.


Below are listed qualities that we look for in a candidate. These are not strict requirements, however, having these you won't have to focus too much on the basics.

Operational excellence. Organizing an event? Easy. Organizing an accelerator? Well, not so easy. With a lot of moving parts, we are looking for someone who all-in-all gets things done on time.

Entrepreneurial mindset. To help the startups, you want to understand startups. Previous experience with startups is a benefit.

People-person. It all comes down to people relations. To thrive in this role, you are expected to be skillful in communicating with founders and coaches, but most essentially, you love working with people.


If you ever want to found your own startup, this is probably the best place to learn for that. You will not only get to know many of the founders on a personal level, but also you will work with some of the best serial-entrepreneurs, investors and mentors that Finland startup scene has to offer.

Recruitment process

For all of the roles, the recruitment process has three steps:
1) 1-on-1 meeting with Patrik.
2) Small role-specific assignment.
3) Final interview with the current team.


We aim to be as transparent as possible about how we proceed with the process and make final decisions for all roles before June, however, the positions will be filled as soon as possible. Starting times for each role can be found in the role-specific descriptions.
